NCAC to Honor David Levithan and Joan Bertin

The National Coalition Against Censorship (NCAC), which consists of 56 non-profits and opposes all forms of censorship, announced the names of two honorees who will be recognized at its 2017 Celebration of Free Speech and Its Defenders in New York City on November 6. The honorees, author and editor David Levithan and the long-time executive director of NCAC Joan E. Bertin, will be celebrated for their work as “leaders in the fight for free speech for over 20 years,” said Christopher Finan, who succeeded Bertin as NCAC executive director in July, in a statement.

The event will take place at Tribeca 360, 10 Debrosses Street. For more information, visit here
