Éric Vuillard Wins Prix Goncourt, Other Press to Publish in English

Other Press will publish The Order of the Day by Éric Vuillard, this year's winner of France's top literary prize, the Prix Goncourt, on November 13, 2018. The book, which has sold over 30,000 copies worldwide and is already licensed for publication in eight countries, is, the publisher said, "a true behind-the-scenes story of the Anschluss, and reveals a very different, and less glorious, picture: no longer is it the resolve of character or the determination of a people which wins the day, but rather a combination of intimidation and bluff."
