PRH Releases Social Impact Highlights Summary

Penguin Random House has issued its first Social Impact Highlights Summary, which, CEO Markus Dohle wrote in a letter to staff, "showcases how our company operates responsibly and complements our publishing efforts by going beyond the day-to-day activities of the business to give back to our communities, both locally and globally, across our territories." The report highlight's the publisher's commitment to championing freedom of expression and creativity, promoting diversity and inclusion, and reducing its carbon footprint, and outlines a number of goals for 2020 it intends to meet through in-house initiatives and programs and through partnerships with local and global nonprofit organizations.
