Wolf Literary Services, Gillian MacKenzie Agency Merge
Wolf Literary Services and the Gillian MacKenzie Agency have merged to form MacKenzie Wolf, a new full-service literary agency and consulting company. Kirsten Wolf, president at Wolf Literary and an attorney with fifteen years of experience in entertainment law, will partner with Gillian MacKenzie, who launched her eponymous literary agency over twelve years ago.
MacKenzie will head the literary management division of the new company. Wolf will lead the consulting division, continuing her legal and financial consulting work with literary agencies, publishers, and independent artists. On the representation side, Allison Devereux and Rach Crawford will continue as agents, expanding their lists and managing the agency’s foreign rights. Kate Johnson will continue as agent, managing her own list as well as U.K. rights. Elizabeth Rudnick joins as agent-at-large. Renée Jarvis will work closely with both teams in her first full-time publishing role.
