Rachel Neumann moves to join Shambhala

Rachel Neumann, publisher and editorial director at Parallax Press, joins Shambhala Publications as associate publisher, effective April 23, to focus on acquisitions and the publishing programs of the Shambhala, Roost Books, and upcoming Bala Kids imprints.
Neumann said, “As interest in Buddhist principles, wellness, and social engagement continues to grow, I’m looking forward to working with Shambhala Publications, as a leader in these areas, to bring these books to an even larger audience.” Shambhala President Nikko Odiseos, announced the move Monday, praising her “creativity, energy, connections.” Penguin Random House distributes both Shambhala and Parallax.
