Man Booker International 2018 Shortlist Announced
The shortlist for the 2018 Man Booker International Prize has been announced, including six authors from around the world. They include Virginie Despentes (France), author of Vernon Subutex 1 (MacLehose Press), Han Kang (South Korea), author of The White Book (Portobello Books), László Krasznahorkai (Hungary), author of The World Goes On (Tuskar Rock Press), Antonio Muñoz Molina (Spain), author of Like a Fading Shadow (Tuskar Rock Press), Ahmed Saadawi (Iraq), author of Frankenstein in Baghdad (Oneworld), and Olga Tokarczuk (Poland), author of Flights (Fitzcarraldo Editions).
The winner of the 2018 prize will be announced on May 22 in London. Both the Man Booker Prize for Fiction and the Man Booker International Prize rewards the best books from around the world that are published in the U.K. and are available in English. For more information, click here.
