Quirk Hires Kupihea as Editorial Director

Quirk Books has hired Jhanteigh Kupihea as editorial director, effective May 21. Kupihea was most recently senior editor at Atria Books, the division of Simon & Schuster, where she worked on commercial fiction and nonfiction across all ages and genres. Kupihea will oversee the creative direction of Quirk’s list, managing acquisitions and editorial staff, including senior editors Rick Chillot and Blair Thornburgh. She will split her time between New York and Quirk’s headquarters in Philadelphia.
