Rumble Joins Hachette

Brant Rumble will join Hachette Books as executive editor, effective May 14, where he will work to expand and deepen the imprint's commercial nonfiction list. Rumble comes from Blue Rider Press, where he worked with authors including Elvis Costello, Douglas Coupland, Mike Love, Steve Spurrier. Before that, he spent the bulk of his career at Scribner, editing such authors as Chuck Klosterman, Patton Oswalt, Ken Jennings, Amanda Petrusich, Jonathan Ames, Stewart O'Nan, and Stephen King; he also managed and edited the Hemingway Library Edition series. Brant recently spent two years with Blue Rider Press where he worked with authors including Elvis Costello, Douglas Coupland, Mike Love, and Steve Spurrier.
