De Gruyter Acquires Düsseldorf University Press

De Gruyter has acquired Düsseldorf University Press in a deal that is retroactively effective January 1, 2018. The press was founded in 2008 with the objective of publishing research from Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Germany, and from other universities. The press will have access to De Gruyter’s publishing services division, Sciendo, while De Gruyter will maintain a contact point for researchers in Düsseldorf, and is creating a scientific advisory board to coordinate interaction between researchers and the publisher.
