BIGNY to Host 'Designer's Roundtable' This Week
The Book Industry Guild of New York will hold a "Designer’s Roundtable Program" event on November 8, which will be focused on the winners of the 2018 New York Book Show and their books. The featured speakers will be Alex Merto, art director at Farrar, Straus, and Giroux; Marina Drukman, art director at Melville House; Ben Denzer, book cover designer at Penguin Art Group; and Yve Ludwig, graphic designer, and will be moderated by Nicole Caputo, creative director at Counterpoint, art director at Catapult, and co-founder of She Designs Books.
The BIGNY session will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, 231 West 54th Street, in Manhattan. The speaking session will begin at 6:15 pm, and a professional networking event will start an hour earlier, at 5:15 pm. Admission for the November 2018 BIGNY event and networking reception is $45 for BIGNY members; $75 for nonmembers; and $5 for the speaker portion of the program only, available only as an online purchase.
