S&S Names New Director of Speakers Bureau

President of Simon & Schuster (S&S) adult publishing Jonathan Karp announced the appointment of Erin Simpson to director of the S&S Speakers Bureau. Prior to the role, Simpson was agent director at the Penguin Random House Speakers Bureau. She will report to Brian Belfiglio, v-p and publicity director of Scribner.

In addition to naming a new director, S&S is transitioning its speakers bureau into an in-house venture, serving all adult and children’s publishing groups and imprints, effective April 1.
