BIGNY Hosts Panel On Digital Book Marketing
The Book Industry Guild of New York is hosting “Data to Dollars,” a panel discussion focused on the effective use of consumer data and digital marketing by publishers, to be held March 14 at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Manhattan.
Subtitled, “How Publishers Use Social Media and Other Digital Footprints to find Readers,” the panel will be moderated by Jim Lichtenberg, founder of the digital strategy firm Lightspeed LLC. Panelists will include PW Star Watch honoree Erika Seyfried, director of content services in Advertising and promotion at the Random House Publishing Group, and Michial Miller, account manager at the NPD Group.
The panelists will examine the state of digital book marketing from Bookstagraming to cover design and general data protection regulation.
The Data To Dollars session will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, 231 West 54th Street, NYC. The speaking session will begin at 6:15 pm; a professional networking event will start at 5:15 pm.
