Lee & Low Creates Internship for Diversity in Publishing

Independent children's publisher Lee & Low Books has established the Diversity in Publishing Internship for candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.

The paid internship is open to applicants who are people of color (defined as people of African/African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latin American, Middle Eastern, or Native American/Indigenous descent); people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer; and/or people with disabilities.

Lee & Low is also participating in the We Need Diverse Books Internship Program and encourages candidates to apply for one of WNDB’s Internship Grants for additional funding.
