Jörg Bong, president and publisher of S. Fischer Verlage, will step down, effective May 31, in order to focus, the company said, on writing his bestselling Brittany Mystery series, written under the pen name Jean-Luc Bannalec. Siv Bublitz, currently executive v-p of editorial and strategy at Fischer, will succeed him as president and publisher.
