B&N Launches YA Book Club
Barnes & Noble is launching a new Young Adult Book Club this summer, with meetings to discuss new YA titles to be held in stores on the second Thursday of each month. The first three books to be discussed will be Again, but Better by Christine Riccio (St. Martins) in June; We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal (FSG) in July); and Wilder Girls by Rory Power (Random House Children's Books) in August. Participants will be offered discounts on select YA titles and drinks from the cafe.
“We’ve gotten strong demand from our customers to host YA Book Clubs in our stores,” said Stephanie Fryling, Vice President of Merchandising, Children’s Books. “That’s why we are so excited to select books every month written specifically for YA readers and invite fans to meet and discuss these great stories in communities around the country.”
