Garth Stein to Lead Binc's Author Leadership Circle
Garth Stein has joined The Book Industry Charitable (Binc) Foundation as campaign chair of the Author Leadership Circle, a new initiative to provide "a financial safety net for booksellers for years to come," according to a press release.
Stein, who is the author of tw (Harper), among others, will focus on "increasing awareness and strengthening the booksellers’ safety net through securing financial commitments from fellow writers," according to the release. He joins Binc co-ambassadors Ann Patchett and James Patterson.
