Skyhorse to Relaunch Gruber Test Prep Guides
Skyhorse Publishing has acquired the publishing rights to the Gruber Test Prep Guides.
The first six titles in the series will be published in August for the 2019-2020 academic year. Among the guides on the first list of titles are Gruber’s Complete SAT Guide 2019-2020 and Gruber’s Complete ACT Guide 2019-2020.
Launched in 1971 by Dr. Gray Gruber, the Gruber Test Prep Guides avoid rote memorization and teach subjects by using a variety of learning strategies. The Guides were originally published Addison Wesley, HarperCollins and other houses and have sold millions of copies.
Skyhorse v-p and executive director of sales and marketing Bill Wolfsthal said Skyhorse has a history of successfully relaunching series.
