Dark Horse to Publish ‘Grafity’s Wall’ Graphic Novel
Dark Horse Comics announced plans to publish Grafity’s Wall: Expanded Edition by writer Ram V and artist Anand R.K., a new graphic novel set in the chaotic streets of Mumbai, India, in March 2020.
Grafity’s Wall is the coming of age story of a Mumbai street artist who is creating a dazzling mural on the surviving wall of a crumbling, ruined tenement building.
The artist uses the wall to chronicle disparate lives of his friends—among them a rapper drawn into the deadly circle of a gangster, and an awkward boy who chronicles his life in letters to strangers, as well as other dreamers fatally attracted to a city of con-men, gangsters, friends and lovers. The book evokes the delirious and unforgiving life of the Mumbai streets, and the transcience of our teenage years.
The new hardcover graphic novel also includes a sketchbook section in this expanded edition. The 144-page graphic novel goes on sale in March 2020.
