PBS to Air ‘American Masters - Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin’ Documentary

PBS will premiere American Masters - Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin, a documentary directed by Arwen Curry on the life and works of the acclaimed science fiction and fantasy author Ursula Le Guin, on August 2.

The late and much-acclaimed author wrote 21 novels, 11 volumes of short stories, four collections of essays, children books, poetry and translations.

The premier of American Masters - Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin marks the 50th anniversary of the publication of Le Guin’s groundbreaking novel, The Left Hand of Darkness, and features intimate conversations with the author. The documentary also includes interviews with authors Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Michael Chadon and David Mitchell who commnent on her career and her literary influence.
