Osondu Wins BOA Prize

E.C. Osondu has won the ninth annual BOA Short Fiction Prize. Osondu, a Nigerian-born author known for his short stories, previously won the Caine Prize for African Writing in 2009, and his fiction has appeared in The Atlantic, Guernica, Kenyon Review, McSweeney's, Vice, and elsewhere. He lives in Providence, R.I., and teaches at Providence College. BOA Editions will publish Osondu's winning manuscript Alien Stories in spring 2021 as part of the American Reader Series.
