RWA, Entangled Partner on Author Incubator Program
The Cultural, Interracial, Multicultural Special Interest Chapter of Romance Writers of America (CIMRWA) and Entangled Publishing have partnered to establish the CIMRWA Author Incubator program. This initiative will provide authors from diverse communities with an opportunity to benefit from expert mentors while also having their books published.
CIMRWA members who are unpublished or have sold less than 10,000 copies per title are eligible to apply. Members will need to submit one chapter of up to 15 pages and complete a brief questionnaire focused on their writing and reading preferences. Entangled Publishing will conduct a blind review of all submissions and select five winners with whom to collaborate on development of a salable project. One of the selected authors will receive a mass market paperback contract for their book; the other four will be offered digital first-rights contracts, with the possibility of print opportunities.Submissions open on September 10 and end on October 10. Non-members of CIMRWA may join the chapter and then apply for the incubator program.
