Binc Announces New Board Member, Staff Changes
American Booksellers Association board member and Northshire Bookstores co-owner Chris Morrow has joined the Binc Foundation board of directors as its newest member of the Binc Board of Directors.
Matthew Gildea, of Arcadia Publishing, has been named board president, and Annie Philbrick, of Bank Square Books and Savoy Bookshop and Café, has been named v-p. Christie Roehl, of Duluth Trading Company, has been named treasurer, and Julia Cowlishaw, of Vroman’s, has been named secretary.
Lori Tucker-Sullivan, whose tenure as president has concluded after seven years, will continue to serve on the board of directors as past president. Mary Richards has completed her term as board treasurer and will step down from the board, while Kate McCune has concluded her time on the board after five years.
Binc staffer Joan Noricks has retired as Binc’s office coordinator. The position has been filled by Mary Baker, formerly a senior manager at Deloitte Consulting in their supply chain practice.
