DPLA Releases 'Impeachment Papers' as Free E-book
The Digital Public Library of America has released The Impeachment Papers, a compendium of 38 documents related to the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump, as an e-book. The ebook consists of witness testimony, subpoenas, and other publicly available material presented in an easy-to-read format. Additions to the preliminary version of this e-book, originally released in December, include the report from the House Judiciary Committee; report from the House Intelligence Committee; and the Review of Four FISA Applications and Other Aspects of the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation, all of which were released to the public in December.
The ebook is free and is available for download here, as a web version here (readable in a browser) and on the Open Bookshelf collection within the SimplyE app. The Impeachment Papers includes:
- July 2019 Trump-Ukraine phone call transcript
- August 2019 whistleblower complaint
- September 2019 Inspector General’s letter about the whistleblower complaint
- Complete transcripts of testimony from Marie Yovanovitch, Michael McKinley, Gordon Sondland, Kurt Volker, Bill Taylor, Alexander Vindman, Fiona Hill and Laura Cooper
- Articles of impeachment
