LBF to Debut Audio HQ Summit

The London Book Fair is launching a new audiobook summit, at the newly named Audio HQ area at this year's fair, to be held on Tuesday, March 10. The summit will be held from 9:45 a.m. GMT until 1:45 p.m. GMT, and will be open to all LBF attendees. It will feature insight, research, and views on the global state audiobook publishing, which remains the fastest growing area within publishing.

The sessions at the summit will include:

  • 9:45-10:15 – Quantum Talk: Audiobook Success: Here’s the Story, by Nielsen Book
  • 10:15-11:00 – Finding your Perfect Voice: The Challenges in Audio Casting, by Dan Zitt, PRH USA
  • 11:00-11:45 – The Subscription Economy in the Publishing Sector; speakers include Javier Celaya, Dosdoce
  • 12:00-12:45 – Who is commissioning audio, what are the opportunities and where are the audiences?; speakers include Videl Bar Kar, Book Wire
  • 1:00-1:45 – Audiobook Growth: The Story Continues by Michele Cobb, Audio Publishers Association
