Kim, Ball Up at Berkley Putnam Dutton

Sally Kim has been promoted to senior v-p and publisher of Putnam, effective immediately, continuing to report to Berkley Putnam Dutton president Ivan Held. She joined Putnam, from Touchstone, five years ago as v-p and editorial director, and was most recently editor in chief. Christine Ball, who has overseen marketing and publicity for the Berkley Putnam Dutton group for the past five years, has been promoted to senior v-p and publisher of Berkley and Dutton, also continuing to report to Held. Ashley McClay, associate publisher and director of marketing at Putnam, and Alexis Welby, v-p and director of publicity at Putnam, will now report to Kim. Ball's direct reports remain unchanged.
