Chicago Authors Video Fundraiser for Indie Relief

A group of Chicago writers has banded together to raise funds for indie bookseller relief during the current pandemic by launching a video campaign called “Inside for Indies.” The group is asking authors with ties to the Windy City to record and post on a YouTube channel short videos showing off their writing workspaces – and everything contained therein. Viewers are asked to either donate to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation or else Book Cellar, an indie in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood renowned for its wine bar. Videos will continue to be posted throughout June, perhaps longer.
