2022 IPA Congress Heads to Jakarta

The 33rd Congress of the International Publishers Association will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, November 11-13, 2022. Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country, with more than 267 million people, and the Indonesian publishing industry is made up of over 5,000 publishers producing an average of 120,000 new titles each year, making the country the largest book producer in Southeast Asia.  

"We are very excited to be heading to Jakarta in 2022," said Bodour Al Qasimi, vice president of the International Publishers Association. "The Indonesian publishing market is growing in strength and stature and has every chance of emerging as an Asian powerhouse in the near future."
