Graywolf Press Takes Literary Salon Virtual
Graywolf Press is moving its annual Graywolf Literary Salon to virtual this year and calling it Graywolf Literary Salon: Conversations from Home. The gathering, which typically is held in downtown Minneapolis and draws a huge crowd of literature lovers from all over the region, will instead take place on attendees’ screens on October 8 at 7:30 pm CST. The lineup of featured authors, who will speak of their work and of their experiences as Graywolf authors, includes Natalie Diaz, Roy G. Guzmán, Khaled Mattawa, and Kevin Young. Admission to the Zoom event is free, but donations to the literary nonprofit press would be appreciated. All donations and event sponsorships benefit Graywolf's New Chapter Campaign, a $3 million initiative to strengthen its publishing program through investments in editorial, marketing, audience development, engagement, and infrastructure.
