Scholastic CTO Leaving

In a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, Scholastic said that executive v-p and chief technology officer Satbir Bedi will leave the company at the end of the year “to pursue his personal interests.”

As part of Bedi’s exit package he will receive a lump-sum payment of $1.2 million. Bedi, who joined Scholastic in 2012, will continue in his position until the end of the year during which time he will be available to work with his successor or successors, when appointed, to implement a smooth transition, Scholastic said.
