Knopf to Publish New Audubon Guides

The National Audubon Society will publish two new reference works, National Audubon Society Birds of North America and National Audubon Society Trees of North America, with Knopf, the Society's first new guides in 25 years and the first in a new series. Forthcoming guides on wildflowers and mushrooms are scheduled for 2023. Audubon's field guides to the birds of North America were last updated in 1994, and have sold a combined 2.3 million copies between the eastern and western editions, according to Knopf.
