David Ebershoff Returns to Little Random

Author and publishing veteran David Ebershoff will return to the Random House imprint as v-p and executive editor, primarily acquiring and editing for the Hogarth list, effective January 4. He will report to Andy Ward, executive v-p and publisher of the Random House imprint. He left his position as executive editor at the imprint in 2015. Ebershoff has worked with authors including Teju Cole, Billy Collins, Shirin Ebadi, Jane Jacobs, Adam Johnson, Diane Keaton, David Kertzer, Norman Mailer, Imbolo Mbue, David Mitchell, and Gary Shteyngart. He is himself a Random House author, and his new novel, The Prodigies, is forthcoming from the press.
