Chicago Review Press Buys Ripple Grove

Chicago Review Press has acquired Ripple Grove Press’s entire catalog of 16 children’s books. CRP, one of two publishing divisions of Independent Publishers Group, will add the picture books to its children’s list. IPG had distributed Ripple Grove since 2014. 

Ripple Grove had been run by Rob and Amanda Broder. Among its best-known titles are Mae and the Moon, Iver & Elsworth, and Seb and the Sun. Ripple Grove, written by Rob Broder and illustrated by Melissa Larson, will be released in 2022.

“Ripple Grove Press has produced some of the most beautiful and tenderhearted children’s picture books and I’m proud to be adding them to our children’s list,” Cynthia Sherry, group publisher for Chicago Review Press and Triumph Books, said in a statement.
