AAP Honors Senator Amy Klobuchar with Award

The Association of American Publishers (AAP) has announced that Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) will receive AAP’s 2021 Award for Distinguished Public Service, which honors individuals who have made important contributions to the public good by advancing laws or policies that respect the value, creation, and publication of original works of authorship. Senator Klobuchar will accept the award virtually during AAP’s annual general meeting on June 2, 2021.

Senator Klobuchar is a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Chair of the Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights.  She is also, recently, the author of Antitrust: Taking on Monopoly Power from the Gilded Age to the Digital Age (Knopf) and The Senator Next Door: A Memoir From the Heartland (Holt).
