CALIBA Seeking New Executive Director
Following the departure of Calvin Crosby to take over co-ownership of the King's English Bookstore in Salt Lake City, Utah, the California Independent Booksellers Alliance is looking to hire a new executive director.
The search will be conducted by CALIBA’s Board of Directors and a hiring committee. The CALIBA hiring committee said in a press release it will be "exploring alternative organizational and pay structures for the CALIBA office as a whole to best match the qualifications and skills of the applicants to the open position." The organization is looking for candidates who value diversity, equity, and inclusion in the book community and will further the organization and the membership’s anti-racist growth and training.
