Obama and Springsteen Team on New Book
Penguin Random House has acquired Renegades: Born in the USA by Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen. The book, which will be globally released on October 26 of this year, is, the publisher said, "a collection of candid, intimate, and entertaining conversations" between the former president and the musician.
PRH added that the book, which will be illustrated and appear in an oversized format, will also include "rare and exclusive photographs from the authors’ personal collections and never-before-seen archival material" to offer "a compelling and beautifully illustrated portrait of two outsiders—one Black and one white—who have helped shape the American story."
The book will be published in the U.K. by Viking and, at press time, in seven additional languages, including in German, Italian, and Spanish.
