Macmillan Delays Office Reopening Indefinitely

In an email to staff, Macmillan announced it has delayed the reopening of its 120 Broadway office indefinitely. Originally scheduled for January 10, 2022, the office reopening has been pushed "to a yet to be determined date" in light of the emergence of new Covid-19 variants. Employees will receive at least 30 days notice when the date is determined. 

In the interim, Macmillan will continue its "soft reopening model," in which employees may come into the office at their own discretion. Once a reopening date is made official, the publisher will begin a "Hybrid & Remote-Friendly pilot program."
