Scholastic Expands National Literacy Solutions Programs With New Hires
Scholastic announced the hiring of Ron Mirr, Tonya Leslie, and Dr. Rhonda Neal Waltman as part of Scholastic Education’s district- and state-wide Learning Supports and Family and Community Engagement (FACE) programs on Monday, Aug. 31.
Mirr, who was appointed senior v-p of Learning Supports and FACE, and Leslie, who was appointed v-p and publisher of Learning Supports and Face, will report to Scholastic Education president Greg Worrell. In addition, Dr. Rhonda Neal Waltman was named director of consulting services for Learning Supports, and she will lead the field services team and report to Mirr.
Learning Supports and FACE are extensions of Scholastic’s Comprehensive Literacy Solutions, which encourages family and community engagement and provides learning services.
