John Hunt Publishing Sold to Watkins Media Owner Etan Ilfeld

U.K.-based John Hunt Publishing has been sold to Etan Ilfeld, the London-based entrepreneur who owns, via his Watkins Media Group, the historic Watkins Bookshop, Kindred Spirit and Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazines, and publishing imprints Watkins Publishing, Nourish, Repeater, and Angry Robot Books.

John Hunt Publishing currently has over 2,000 titles in print across key imprints such as O Books, Zero Books, Moon Books, Iff Books, and others. John Hunt Publishing founder John Hunt will step away permanently, saying that he "can't think of a better long-term home for the company” than with Ilfeld.
