Ann Day Named Publicity Director of Disney Publishing Worldwide
Ann Day has been named publicity director for Disney Publishing Worldwide, effective immediately. Day replaces Seale Ballenger, who was recently named v-p of publicity at Scholastic.
As publicity director, Day will be overseeing the publishing publicity teams for all brands, franchises, and imprints, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, ESPN, 20th Century Studios, National Geographic, and Hyperion.
Day has worked in publishing for 21 years, most recently holding the title of senior manager for Disney Publishing Worldwide, where she oversaw adult and kids titles across the National Geographic Books imprint. Previously, she worked at St. Martin’s Press and Penguin.
