Ryan Doherty Named V-p, Editorial Director at Celadon

Ryan Doherty has been promoted to v-p and editorial director of Celadon Books, effective immediately. He formerly served as executive editor.
Doherty has previously acquired such bestselling titles as The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, The Whisper Man by Alex North, HRH by Elizabeth Holmes, and Love People, Use Things by The Minimalists..
Doherty joined Celadon in the fall of 2017. Previously, he was v-p of literary development for Sony Pictures Entertainment, focusing on book to film and television development.
Newly reporting to Doherty is executive editor Bill Hamilton. Cecily van Buren-Freedman, assistant editor, will continue to report to Doherty.
