Harlequin Funds New Writing Program Scholarships
Publisher Harlequin has announced it will offer two new scholarships totaling $8,000 for writing programs at Emerson College in Boston and North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C. The new commitment brings the total number scholarships in Harlequin's Diverse Voices Scholarship Program to four.
Starting in fall 2022, scholarships will be available to students enrolled in Emerson College’s Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing online MFA program and North Carolina A&T State University’s four-year undergraduate Creative Writing Program.
Harlequin created the scholarship program in 2020 working with the Humber School for Writers in Toronto, Canada, and Seton Hill University’s Writing Popular Fiction MFA program in Greensburg, Pa. Three recipients have received scholarships to date.
