Comixology Originals, Delcourt Ink Foreign Rights Deal

Comixology Originals, the publishing imprint of Amazon’s digital comics marketplace, has entered into a foreign rights agreement with the French comics publisher Delcourt Group to translate and release select Comixology Originals titles.

The deal gives Delcourt the option to translate and sublicense select Comixology Originals titles into French and other non-English languages. The deal was announced in conjunction with the opening of the annual Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.

Comixology Originals head of content Chip Mosher said, “Today, we are excited to announce the talented team at Delcourt will help us expand to other languages so more readers can enjoy the wide range of graphic novels and collections Comixology Originals has to offer.”
