2022 PEN World Voices Festival Programming Announced
PEN America has announced the programming for the four-day 2022 PEN World Voices festival, held from May 11–14. The festival will be centered in New York City, with satellite events in Los Angeles. 2022 PEN World Voices Festival is led by PEN America senior director of literary programs Clarisse Rosaz Shariyf and curated with Eloisa Amezcua, John Freeman, Devyani Saltzman, and Louise Steinman.
Opening night will feature 2021 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah. Participants in festival programming include Omar El Akkad, Fatima Daas, Natalie Diaz, Jennifer Egan, Saidiya Hartman, Sheila Heti, Mieko Kawakami, Eileen Myles, Meghan O’Rourke, Morgan Parker, Gary Shteyngart, Leïla Slimani, Tracy K. Smith, V (formerly Eve Ensler), Alejandro Zambra, and more. The full list of events can be found here.
