Two Books on Volodymyr Zelenskyy Publish in English
Regnery Publishing released Zelensky: The Unlikely Hero Who Defied Putin and United the World, by Andrew L. Urban and Chris McLeod and with a foreword by intelligence expert Rebekah Koffler, on April 19. The publisher describes the book as "the first major profile" on the Ukrainian president. Regnery publisher Tom Spence acquired world rights, excepting in Australia and New Zealand, from Michael WIlkinson at Wilkinson Publishing in Melbourne, Australia.
Polity Press will publish Zelensky: A Biography, by political analyst Serhi Rudenko and translated by Michael Naydan and Alla Parminova, on July 1 in the U.K. Rights were acquired from the Munich, Germany–based Thomas Wiedling Literary Agency. The book was published in Ukrainian in 2020 by Summit Book Publishers. In its announcement of the book, the Bookseller described it as the "first major biography" of Zelenskyy.
The crashing of both titles comes amid a historic paper shortage and supply chain jam.
