Triumph Books Launches Two New Sports Series
Triumph Books will release two new team-focused series in 2022. The first, called "The Franchise," is a hardcover series focusing on "the unique, eclectic stories that form the tightly woven connection between a team and its fans." The first titles will focus on the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, and will be published in June and July. Titles focusing on college football will be published under the series title "The Program," although they are part of the same publishing program; the first title will debut in September with a book on the Alabama Crimson Tide. being released later this November.
The second, the paperback series "On the Clock," will focus on the NFL and NHL drafts, looking "behind the scenes with top decision-makers as they evaluate, deliberate and ultimately make the picks they hope will tip the fate of their franchise toward success." Forthcoming books in the series include titles on the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, and Edmonton Oilers, and will be released starting in September.
