Indie Press Summer Fridays Come to the Center for Fiction

The Center for Fiction and the Independent Publishers Caucus have partnered on a new initiative, Indie Press Summer Fridays. The Center will hold gatherings from 4-7:00 p.m. ET each Friday, beginning June 17 and running through August 26, featuring free drinks and refreshments with staff from a number of the U.S.'s best independent presses. A special selection of each host publisher’s titles will be available in the bookstore each week.

The schedule is as follows:

  • June 17th: The Other Press & Europa Editions
  • June 24th: Catapult, Soft Skull & Counterpoint 
  • July 8th: Europa Editions & Grove Atlantic
  • July 15th: Feminist Press & Haymarket Books
  • July 22nd: Soho Press 
  • July 29th: The New Press & Verso Books
  • August 5th: Archipelago Books & New Vessel Press
  • August 12th: New Directions 
  • August 19th: New York Review of Books
  • August 26th: Astra House & Astra Magazine
