Rowman & Littlefield in Deal for Freud Work

Rowman & Littlefield has signed a co-publishing agreement with the British Psychoanalytical Society to release the Revised Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud. The new 24-volume set will be developed under the direction of professor Mark Solms and preserves the original Standard Edition English translation, published between 1953 and 1966, while adding a new layer of retranslations with explanatory annotations under the direction of professor Solms, Rowman & Littlefield said. The revised edition also presents Freud material that has not previously been translated into English. The complete set will be released in the summer of 2023.
