Poets & Writers Board Announces New Members, Elects New Officers
Poets & Writers has elected Andrea Louie, Liate Stehlik, and Elizabeth Toledo to its board of directors. The board has also elected Willys Kals as president, Paul Vidich as treasurer, and Janet McCarthy Grimm as secretary.
Louie is a secretary at the Nassau County Department of Health. She was previously the executive director of the Asian American Arts Alliance and is the author of the novel Moon Cakes (Ballantine).
Stehlik is president and publisher of the Morrow Group, overseeing publishing operations for William Morrow, Mariner, Harvest, Avon, Dey Street and Harper Voyager. She joined HarperCollins in 2005 as publisher of Avon Books and prior to that was associate publisher at Pocket Books.
Toledo is president of Camino Public Relations. She is also the cofounder of the Contraceptive Access Initiative and former v-p of communications for Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
