Dan Schwartz Named CFO at HarperCollins

HarperCollins has named Dan Schwartz senior v-p and chief financial officer for HarperCollins worldwide, effective January 23. He will take on oversight of all financial matters for the organization globally and sit on the global executive committee. Schwartz will report to Brian Murray, president and CEO of HarperCollins Publishers.

Schwartz spent the last 13 years at Macmillan Publishers in a variety of roles, most recently as CFO. Prior to Macmillan, Schwartz spent more than a decade in management consulting, with a focus in media and entertainment and investment banking.
