Avery Hill, Retrofit Comics Partner for Distribution

In an effort to cut international distribution costs, UK-based comics publisher Avery Hill Publishing and U.S.-based comics house Retrofit Comics are teaming up to distribute their respective lists to customers in the U.S and the U.K.

Customers of Retrofit can order Avery Hill comics as they would a Retrofit comic, and the reverse applies to UK customers of Avery Hill. The two publishers said that small publishers with limited budgets need to find innovative ways to reach new customers.

The two publishers are offering 13 titles (six from Avery, seven from Retrofit) in the distribution agreement, including A Quiet Disaster by Alex Potts (Avery) and Mowgli’s Mirror by Olivier Schrauwen (Retrofit).
